New Benefit for SHRM Members
As your State Council, it is our responsibility to make sure your SHRM
membership provides value to you and your organization. On occasion
members have requested that we offer Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
services as an additional member benefit. Today we do.
Welcome to ASK EAP, an EAP consultation service created
specifically for
the Minnesota SHRM and SHRM chapter affiliated members on a state-wide
basis. Through a preferred vendor relationship with Midwest EAP
Solutions, we are able to deliver this unique and valuable benefit to
members who may not otherwise have access to EAP services.
ASK EAP provides professional support to assist Human Resources or
other
members of management when faced with difficult employee situations,
troubled workgroups, or frustrated supervisors.
Here are just a few ways that ASK EAP can help:

personal
problems on the job.
- Offer guidance in conflict resolution, employee disputes and troubled
work
groups.
- Tell you how to recognize signs and symptoms of behavioral health
concerns
that may be impacting an employee.
