|
|
Branding webinar. Volunteer leaders are previewing the new logo,
but are
asked to wait to roll it out until after SHRM rolls it out after the
National Conference. There is a conference call on Wed, May 23rd, Q&A on
the logo. Membership is a huge initiative this year, new brochures are
available. National Conference coming up. Doubled scholarships for
SPHR/PHR exam and material.
Membership Report: Challenges of added membership and at-large,
more info
tomorrow. Opportunity for chapters to capture at-large members. 2/3 of
State Conference attendees are not affiliated, this is a huge opportunity
to recruit members to local chapters. Proposing making space available
for Chapters at State Conference two ways to approach. 1. Each chapter
would have their own space, 2. Or one large table for all Chapters to use.
Discussion. No decision was made at this time.
Discussion of mid-day meetings for the State Conference. Conference
calls,
web meetings, different time of day. A Google group is being used by the
executive committee. The next State Council meeting is July 11th.
Foundation basket tickets are going up to $5.00 per ticket. Asking
Chapters to sell tickets to their members.
