2006 State HR Games:   Mark your calendars!!!

MN State SHRM is excited to announce the host site for the 2006 HR Games. The MN State HR Games will be held at North Central University on Saturday, February 18, 2006. North Central University is located in downtown Minneapolis which provides as a central location for potential participants. The bid proposal was submitted by the Twin Cities HR Association (TCHRA) in coordination with North Central University. A special thanks goes out to TCHRA as well as all other chapters who submitted bid proposals for hosting the 2006 HR Games.

For those of you unfamiliar with the HR Games, it is an event between SHRM student chapters that is designed to foster friendly competition between universities while providing a positive and fun way to prepare students for the human resource profession and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification exam. Using a "Jeopardy style" format, teams of up to three (3) undergraduate students from each school compete over several rounds, and if successful will reach the finals.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact me at 320-202-6649. Thanks and have a great day!

Brent Brockman, PHR
MN College Relations Director
