The fifth annual MN State HR Games Competition was held February 24, 2007
at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. The event was a huge
success and a great way to prepare college students for the HRCI exam.
Five teams representing four schools competed in the competition. Due to
inclement weather the teams from St. Cloud State and Univ. of MN Duluth
were unable to make the trip. At the end of the day it was Southwest MN
State University vs. MN State Community and Technical College #2 for the
championship. Southwest MN State University took the title for 2007. Team
members are: Charlotte Gamber, Anna Peterson, and Nick Prieve. Their
advisor is Dr. Stacy Ball-Elias. Second place went to MN State Community
and Technical College; Kay Hogetvedt and Rhea Faue. Congratulations to all
participants!
Other teams competing included University of St. Thomas and University of
MN. The day could not have been made possible if it wasn't for the
volunteers from TCHRA. We are grateful for their volunteerism and
professional mentoring for the students.
